Libby Rowlands
Libby is currently Head of Partnerships, leading on income generation at Cavell, a charity which champions nursing and midwifery professionals during times of crisis.
Often people say they fell into fundraising but for Libby, she always aspired to pursue a career making a positive impact in society. Fundraising runs in Libby’s blood, jumping out of a plane at 16 and WingWalking at 18. Libby’s background is predominantly in high value fundraising, having worked as a Senior Development Executive at the University of Oxford working within the Humanities division and a Senior Partnerships Manager at Acorns Children’s Hospice, leading the corporate partnerships team.

Applying to the Elischer Foundation was the next step for me in putting on my metaphorical ‘cloak of courage’ to overcome imposter syndrome and to embrace positive challenge. As part of the programme, I aspire to develop, and learn to own, my authentic leadership style and explore how I can create a vision which inspires others to come along on the journey.
