Georgia Earl

UK

Georgia wanted to build a career around making a difference and has been working within the charity sector for almost 10 years, specifically across legacy and in memory fundraising. She has been working at ActionAid UK for 5 years now and is currently in the role of Head of Legacies and In Memory. Georgia is always so touched by those who support a charity either through a gift in their Will or in memory of their loved ones - legacy and in memory giving are such personal and special ways of giving to a charity to ensure that we not only celebrate the life of a loved one but also ensure our memory lives on in the gifts left behind.

Why apply?

“I applied for the The Elischer Foundation mentorship programme because I have recently had a lot of change in my life and could really benefit from some support and guidance when looking into my future personal and career development. I hope to gain more perspective on what I need and want for my near future as well as a bit further down the line. Throughout my career so far, I have really valued those who are in leadership roles but continue to be down to earth, approachable and considerate. I would really like to bring this approach to my leadership style and keep it with me as I progress through my career.”
