Abi White

UK

Abi is Senior Head of Individual Supporters at The Prince’s Trust and is responsible for the mass fundraising programme encompassing IG, Legacies and Mass Events. Prior to joining The Prince’s Trust, she worked in fundraising-specialist creative agencies for 16 years including GOOD Agency and, latterly, Black Bear Creative.

Whilst agency-side she worked with many diverse organisations including NSPCC, WaterAid, RSPB, NDCS and ActionAid – developing integrated fundraising strategies, successful individual giving programmes and target-beating campaigns.

She is enjoying being back charity-side now because her first ever job was at Crisis – working as a junior fundraiser on the FareShare project, which was a brilliant introduction to building a successful charity fundraising programme.

Outside of work she is a Trustee for a local counselling charity – managing the fundraising strategy, applications and reporting for both revenue and capital funds as the charity builds new premises to house their counselling sessions in the local community.

Why apply?

“I am really excited to be on the Elischer Foundation mentoring programme – I’m looking forward to working with my mentor to broaden my skills outside my heartland of mass fundraising and learning more about what the sector looks like from the inside now I’m back working at a charity again.”
